Cian is a qualified physiotherapist with a passion for treating and rehabilitating sports injuries.

He holds a first-class honours undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences from the University of Limerick, where he graduated in 2021. During his time at UL, Cian gained extensive coaching experience, working with athletes and teams across a range of sports - including GAA, soccer, and rugby - at levels ranging from amateur to inter-county. After graduating, he continued to build on this foundation, taking up a role as a strength and conditioning coach at a gym in his home county of Offaly, where he later progressed into a managerial position.

Despite his interest in coaching, Cian knew his true passion lay in rehabilitation. He returned to study physiotherapy at University College Dublin, graduating with first-class honours in his master’s degree. In addition to this academic achievement, he received top marks for his thesis, which led to presentations at international conferences and a student research prize from the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Cian has participated in a variety of sports, but hurling is where he truly excelled, representing his club, county, and university at various levels. As a physiotherapist, he seeks to combine his clinical expertise with his lifelong love of sport to help athletes recover, perform at their best, and return to doing what they love most.
